The outline of the policy was accelerating the development of conducive macro economy by protecting low-income people and promoting rural economy Along with the improvement of global and local economy in 2016, the government continues to issue its economic policy packages by extending its scope and targets to ease of doing business. The policies are aimed at encouraging the improvement of investment climate and acceleration of development projects, providing tax incentives as well as reducing energy prices for the industrial sector.

Note that the approach used in the preparation of economic policy package is designed in a participatory method to actively involve all stakeholders.
